Laurens hit-and-run victim identified by Coroner

The victim of a fatal hit-and-run incident in Laurens late Saturday night has been identified by the Laurens County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Patti Canupp identified the victim as James Brendan O’Shields, 50, of Laurens. He was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, she said.
