Man drowns Thursday at Lake Greenwood residence

A Florida man drowned Thursday in Lake Greenwood Thursday morning, according to the Laurens County Coroner’s Office.

Glenn Cameron, 81, of Hawthorne, Florida, was pronounced dead at the scene. In addition to his Florida home, Cameron had a secondary residence on Lake Greenwood in Waterloo, where the drowning occurred.

An autopsy verified the cause of death as drowning, said Chief Deputy Coroner Ashley Rushton.
