Charlotte Tingle Walker

Charlotte Tingle Walker, 71, of Enoree, and wife of 52 years to James Kirkland “Jimmy” Walker, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Hospice House of Laurens County.
Charlotte was born on November 17, 1954 to the late Carl Lucius and Virginia Brownlee Tingle. She retired from serving the residents at Whitten Center. Charlotte was a member of Lanford Baptist Church, where she served as church pianist, on the prayer team, and was a member of the choir. She loved roses, reading, and watching Hallmark movies. She also loved her “lunch bunch” with whom she regularly enjoyed meals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Leslie Walker Tallent (Patrick); five grandchildren, Adam Campbell, Grayson Tallent (Madison Chapman), Justin Campbell, Jayden Feusse (Mariah Etris), and Sarah-Beth Tallent; one great grandchild, Ryland Collins; a special niece, Amy Walker Roberts; and a special nephew, Buster Walker.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Ann Clayton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Lanford Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Larry Pitts and Rev. Richard Cain.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am – 11:00 am before the service.
