Nancy Templeton Stroble

Nancy Templeton Stroble, 78, of Spartanburg and wife of Charles Keith Stroble, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her home.
Born on March 9, 1948, in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late, Jack and Miriam Bobo Templeton. Nancy dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a school teacher. She taught many years as an elementary teacher and contributed significantly to the gifted and talented program. Nancy was member of the GRITS Girls (Girls Raised in The South), a close-knit group of high school friends from Laurens, SC. Together, they shared a love for travel and created countless memories that will be treasured forever. Most importantly, Nancy was a devoted grandmother, finding immense joy and pride in her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, she is survived by her daughter Kent Stroble Brannon (Adam); grandchildren Sarah Beth and Caroline Brannon; a sister, Ann Poole; nieces, Temple Poole Holland (Jonathan) and Amanda Poole; great nephews, Reese and Thomas Holland; cousins, Rita Garrett (Stewart) and Ronnie Bobo (Judith); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Rick Poole.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Westview Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Tommy Cox. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
The family will be at their respective homes.
