Clinton Community Garden Hosts Annual “Gathering in the Garden” Celebration Nov. 4

Clinton, SC — The Clinton Community Garden Project invites the public to its annual “Gathering in the Garden” celebration, which has been postponed to Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 4:30  to 6:30 p.m. at the Clinton Community Garden on South Bell Street across from the Friendship AME Church.

Parking for the free, family-friendly event is on the Tribble Street entrance to the church. Originally planned for Oct. 28, the event was postponed due to rain.

“This celebration is our way of thanking the community for their support and participation,” said Jamie Adair, Board Chair of the Clinton Community Garden Project. “It’s a joyful evening that truly brings people together around food, health, and community spirit.”

It also celebrates the harvest and the dedicated volunteers who nurture the garden year-round. Guests will enjoy a complimentary dinner prepared by Chef Robert, along with an evening filled with free food, fellowship, and fun.

Free health screenings will be offered by Prisma Health and Presbyterian College, including blood pressure, diabetes, and blood sugar checks, flu vaccines and more.

Live entertainment will be provided by Soul Intent, a popular Upstate band known for its soulful, crowd-pleasing music. The event will also feature games, crafts, and raffle prizes for all ages.

The Clinton Community Garden Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to planting, cultivating, and growing healthy food and concepts for community well-being.
