3rd annual Daffodils for Remembrance set for Nov. 8

Please join Clinton Canopy for our third annual Daffodils for Remembrance event.  Daffodils mark the arrival of spring, and yellow is the color of remembrance.  They are resilient and return with a burst of color each spring signifying hope, renewal and beauty.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, we will gather to plant 600 daffodil bulbs along Highway 72 at Clinton Elementary School.  These bulbs are funded through the Community Assistance Grant.

Those who are interested can sign up for a FREE set of daffodil bulbs in memory of a loved one by going to www.clintoncanopy.org and accessing the link to “Daffodils for Remembrance.” Participants can dedicate bulbs to a beloved friend, co-worker, or family member and those names will be posted on our website.

After signing up, participants are asked to join us on Nov. 8 from 9-11 am to plant your bulbs. Parking is available in the CES parking lot at 800 Chestnut Street.

If you would like to sign up for bulbs but cannot be present to plant them, you can set up an appointment to plant the bulbs earlier in the week or have Clinton Canopy assist in getting the bulbs planted so that your loved one can be remembered.

So far we have planted bulbs in the “V” at Willard Road and North Adair Street and along the railroad tracks in the historic downtown. This year marks our third planting, and this annual tradition will continue with more sites in the future.  Local residents are asked to also plant bulbs on their property or at their business if they wish.
