LA gets homecoming win over Wardlaw, 36-14

Laurens Academy remained unbeaten in conference play Friday with a 36-14 Homecoming victory over visiting Wardlaw Academy at Todd Kirk Field.

The Crusaders improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in SCISA 8-man Region 1 with the win. It was their second win this season over Wardlaw. They also defeated the Patriots 34-8 on Aug. 29. Wardlaw fell to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in region play.

No other game details were immediately available.

LA will host Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach in a nonconference game next week.
