Haley Ann Griffin

Haley Griffin, age 56 of Laurens, mother of Helisha Crowe, Elizabeth “Rudy”Griffin, and RJ Griffin, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, with her best friend Loretta “Sissy” by her side, as she was for many years, under the care of Hospice.

Haley was born on July 24, 1968. She was the daughter of the late Rebecca and Tom Cockrell and the late Harley Cromer.

Haley is survived by her children Helisha Crowe(Pat) and RJ Griffin(Kristen), her grandchildren Zachary and Graycen Crowe, Kayleigh Griffin, Khloe Knight, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other special loved ones. Haley is also survived by her best friend Loretta Griffin, who loved and cared for her deeply.

Haley was married to Roger Griffin for 33 years. While they were no longer together at the time of her death, they were friends until the end.

In addition to her parents, Haley was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth “Rudy” Griffin, a granddaughter Sophia Breanne Gibson-Griffin, her sisters Deborah Johnson and Katherine Williams, and her grandmother MalMal.

Haley was spunky and fiesty and made everyone around her laugh. Haley was known for her contagious smile and her MADEA like personality … IYKYK … LOL!

A memorial will be set at a later date to celebrate Haley’s life.
