Betty Ann Dial, 69, of Laurens, SC, was called Home on December 9, 2024. She was born to the late Dorothy Jordan and Fred Johnson.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Dial; siblings, Jacqueline Johnson, Fred Johnson Jr., Rosemary White, Willie Johnson and Tuanna (Frazier) Trusty; God-grandchildren, Justin Henry, Janiyah Henry, Jalyn Henry and Adaya Rice; two God-great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Yvonne Bailey and Ruby Neal Johnson.
Betty will be remembered for never meeting a stranger, being a good cook, great friend and faithful church member. She never judged anyone but told it like it was. As a devoted mother, she was known for her sense of humor and her listening ear. Betty worked for over 30 years at Ceram Tec in Laurens, SC as a valued member of her team.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at White Plains Baptist Church. 1672 Lisbon Road, Mountville, SC 29370.
Betty’s daughter will be receiving visitors at her home at 100 Cedar Street, Laurens, SC 29360. In lieu of flowers and prepared meals as it is just herself, gift cards for food would be appreciated.
Betty will be deeply missed and dearly remembered.
