Lander University sets Sept. 17 as date for Family Day, Cody Webb concert

GREENWOOD, S.C. ^__ Lander University has set the date for this year’s Family Day on Saturday, Sept. 17. Festivities will be held from 12-4 p.m. at the Dingle Amphitheatre located behind Laura Lander Hall. All Lander students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families are invited to attend.

“We’re excited to welcome our Lander family members back to campus,” said Dr. Demario Watts, director of Student Life and Orientation. “This is an excellent opportunity for families to spend valuable time with their students.”

Family Day is free and packed with activities for all ages. There will be a Wonderbus photo booth, outdoor games, paint ‘n pour, inflatables, caricature artists and more. Food trucks will be available for guests to purchase food and drinks. Rising country music star Cody Webb will perform at 1 p.m. on the amphitheatre stage.
