Connect Lake Greenwood hosts Lights On The Lake this Saturday

Once again Connect Lake Greenwood, the host organization of Lights on the Lake, is expecting over 10,000 people to join in the most anticipated Independence Day celebration of the summer, Saturday, July 2, 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm.

People come from throughout the Upstate and the counties bordering Lake Greenwood by either boat or vehicle to the shores of Fellowship Camp and Conference Center. This annual event, now in its 9th year, provides an evening of entertainment, food, beverages with a spectacular fireworks display.

Lights on the Lake 2022 presented by Acopia Home Loans-Shonna Lee and LakelandsRealty.com, is a FREE event and begins at 5:30 pm. The gates open at 5:00 pm. A nominal parking fee is charged per vehicle by Camp Fellowship.

Starting at 7:30 pm, The Jake Bartley Band provides live music for all to enjoy. There are food vendors selling meals and summer treats plus a variety of refreshments. Then at approximately 9:30 pm, the most spectacular and awe-inspiring fireworks display lights up the night sky over Lake Greenwood.

Everyone is welcome! So come by boat or by car. It is an evening unlike any other in the area and highlights the best of Lake Greenwood summer fun.

Connect Lake Greenwood organizers do ask attendees to register online for planning and preparation by visiting ConnectLakeGreenwood.org. In addition, donations are graciously accepted to support the annual event and ensure its level of enjoyment.
