Paul David Shockley, Sr.

Paul David Shockley, Sr., age 54, of 53 Circle Drive, and husband of Sheree Denise Beaman Shockley, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of Joseph William Shockley, Sr. and the late Rose Marie Smith Shockley.  Paul was of the Church of God of Prophecy and loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are eight children, Paul David Shockley, Jr., William Leo Shockley, Autumn Elaine Shockley, Cory Ann Shockley, James Robert “Michael” Shockley, Casey Starnes, Tyler Starnes, and Shane Shockley, his siblings, Joseph William Shockley, Jr., Tina Marie Landis, and Melissa Dunham; twelve grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, including Joseph William Shockley, III, Jonathan Walter Shockley, Joshua Wesley Shockley, and Christopher Allen Epperly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Larry Cooper with burial following in Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of his brother, 2818 Hwy 39, Mountville, S.C., and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5.
