Winifred M. Card

Laurens, S.C. – Winifred M. Card, 96, passed away July 21, 2017 in her residence at the Clinton Presbyterian Community.

Winifred was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved with her parents to Flint, Mich., prior to World War II. She married William B. Card, who was serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps at the time, in Flint. After moving between several U. S. Air Corps bases during the war, she and William settled in Chattanooga, where they lived for several years before moving to Laurens, S.C. William and Win began residing at the Clinton Presbyterian Community in the 1970’s. Winifred remained there after William passed away in 2006.
