Louis Owens

Louis Owens, age 72, of 207 Camp St., Laurens, S.C., passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at his home. He was born in Laurens and was a son of late George Enice Owens and the late Sara O. Robertson. Louis was a gifted musician playing several instruments but his love was playing the guitar and singing country and gospel music.  Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, June 1, at 3:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. The family will be at the home of his brother, Bennie Owens, 212 Amethyst Way, Laurens, SC 29360.
