Richard Kinney

Mr. Richard Kinney, age 93, widower of Daisy Davis Kinney of Martha Franks Nursing Center in Laurens, S.C., passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kinney was born in Warren, Pa., September 12, 1923, a son of the late Alfred Russell Kinney and Edith Evelyn Creamer Kinney.  Mr. Kinney retired as an auditor for the International Mission Board and was formerly employed with the Internal Revenue Service. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 28, at Union Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the services.
