Cogsdill defeats Neal for Clinton Ward 3 seat
A second incumbent failed in her bid for re-election to the Clinton City Council in a run-off election for the city’s Ward 3 seat Tuesday night.
Natalie Cogsdill defeated incumbent Robbie Neal in the runoff after falling just one vote short of winning the seat during a three-way race in the municipal election on March 4.
Cogsdill won the seat with 58 votes, while Neal received 30 votes.
Clinton voters in District 3 are heading to the polls today for the runoff election between Seat 3 Incumbent Robbie Neal and challenger Natalie Cogsdill. Voter precincts which include District 3 voters are combined at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 403 Academy Street, Clinton.
In Ward 5, Danny Smith defeated incumbent Ronnie Roth.
