Man charged with murder in Gray Court shooting

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as William Hogan, 27, of Spartanburg. An autopsy on Monday confirmed that Hogan died of a gunshot wound.
A shooting on Old Highway 76 in Gray Court left one person dead and one man arrested and charged with murder late Friday night.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a shooting at a location on Old Highway 76 around 11:45 p.m and found a victim who had succumbed to injuries inflicted by a gunshot wound.
Matthew Alex Mundy has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The LCSO said the incident is still under investigation and more charges are pending.
