Coroner: Laurens man dies from work accident
A Laurens man apparently injured in a fall at his job Sunday died of his injuries Sunday night at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
According to the Laurens County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. Sunday at ISOFlex Packaging in Gray Court. A preliminary investigation by the coroner’s office indicated that a fall at his workplace caused injuries that proved to be fatal.
The victim was identified as Jason Lambert, 47, of Laurens. Lambert died at the hospital shortly after 6 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
ISOFlex Packaging produces plastic films for packaging and other products for food and beverage operations, consumer goods, agricultural and institutional products among others.
