Waterloo man dies in Wednesday crash

A Waterloo man was killed Wednesday in a vehicle crash on Riverfork Road in Waterloo.

Laurens County Chief Deputy Coroner Ashley Rushton identified the victim as 70-year-old David Lee.

Lee was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was airlifted to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The accident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
