PC weathers Lindsey Wilson, wins 2nd straight

The Presbyterian College football team worked through a 64-minute weather delay Thursday night at Bailey Memorial Stadium, and took advantage of a good all-around performance as they knocked off Lindsey Wilson, 10-0, to move to 2-1 on the season.

Quarterback John Walker completed 19 of 26 passes for 155 yards and a 7-yard touchdown to DaShawn Davis with 15 seconds gone in the fourth quarter, while running backs Jarius Jeter and Zola Davis combined for 181 yards on 36 carries (Jeter rushed for 94 yards, Davis 87).

PC will return to action on Oct. 6 when it visits Kennesaw State, which currently is No. 4 in the latest FCS Coaches Poll.
