The Roper Mountain Astronomers Club invites you, on November 15th, at 7:30 pm, to come hear Prof Dieter Hartmann discuss “When Compact Stellar Objects Merge Ripples in the Fabric of Space-Time Excite the Universe.”
We hold our Club Meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm, except December and August. We meet at the Roper Mountain Science Center, 402 Roper Mountain Road, in Greenville SC, on the top floor of the Wilkins Conference Center next to the Charles E. Daniel Observatory.
Our meetings are free of charge, open to visitors, and all levels of interest are welcome. An astronomy related topic is presented at every meeting either by a member or guest speaker. Questions and discussion are a part of our meetings.
Light refreshments are served. Come early to meet everyone!
