Falcons fly past Raiders on homecoming, 49-0

A.C. Flora quarterback Roper Wentzky threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns as the unbeaten Falcons cruised past Laurens 49-0 Friday night at K.C. Hanna Stadium.
The shutout was the Raiders’ second in four games this season and came on homecoming night at LDHS.
The Falcons (4-0) also rushed for 244 yards on the night while holding LDHS to 72 yards of total offense.
Flora led 28-0 before halftime.
The lone bright spot for LDHS was a 25-yard gadget play. Travion Robinson caught a lateral and threw downfield to Price Turner for the gain that left the Raiders deep in Flora territory.
The Raiders fell to 0-4 on the season and have been outscored 198-27.
