Mrs. Claire Floyd Porter, age 92, of Rosebud Street Columbia SC (formerly of Laurens, S.C.), earned her Heavenly Wings on September 3, 2023.

Mrs. Claire Floyd Porter will be forever missed by her Sons: Ervin Bernard Cunningham of Columbia SC and James Ernest ( Juanita) Cunningham of Flint MI; a daughter: Vivian Cunningham Bush of the home; Daughter in – law: Louvenia M. Floyd of Pittsboro NC; Five brothers: Jeremiah (Clara) Floyd of Bethesda MD, James (Barbara) Floyd of Greenville SC, Johnny C. Floyd of Laurens SC, Joseph (Mildred) Floyd of Greenville SC and Dr. Michael (Monica ) Floyd of Townsend TN; Six grandchildren, Ten great – grandchildren, Four great great – grandchildren and many other close relatives and friends.

Mrs. Claire Floyd Porter was celebrated on September 9, 2023 at the Northminister Presbyterian Church in Columbia SC . Her final resting place is in the Family Plot at Duncan Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens SC
