Totsie Stewart

Totsie Stewart, born June 23, 1945, went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2023.
She was the cousin of Marie Snow (aka The Doll Lady), and assisted her each year with placing her beautiful dolls in the yard of her home in the City of Laurens. You usually would not see one without the other, and the two of them would often be seen walking on Fleming Street.
She was a sweet soul, and she always had a smile for anyone she came into contact with. She loved to dance, listen to gospel music and she absolutely adored Elvis Presley. Most of all she loved Jesus!
She had so much love for others including her family, friends, and her care taker, Tyna. Totsie also had a huge heart for animals!
Totsie was a member of Eastside Baptist Church where she loved her Pastor JD Putman, and her church family.
She touched so many lives with her contagious smile and outpouring love. To say she will be missed is quite the understatement.
A memorial service will be held, Friday, March 31, at Eastside Baptist Church at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
