LCSO drug bust, investigation leads to five arrests
Five people have been arrested by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office stemming from a Sept. 22 drug bust and an ensuing investigation.
According to the LCSO, investigators seized illegal psychedelic mushrooms, 450 grams of methamphetamine, other substances and several firearms from a residence on Candra Drive in Laurens.
The arrests and charges include:
- Heather Marie Griffin – trafficking meth, possession of a controlled substance (Fentanyl), drugs/attempt and conspiracy.
- Arcadio Kenneth Hernandez – trafficking meth, possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime, drugs/attempt and conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance (Fentanyl).
- Stanley Leroy Reeder III – trafficking meth, drugs/attempt and conspiracy.
- Caitlin Jordan – trafficking meth, drugs/attempt and conspiracy.
- Jordan Mitchell Revis – trafficking meth, possession of weapon during commission of a violent crime, drugs/attempt and conspiracy.
More charges are expected for each of the five suspects following drug analyses by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).
“Drug trafficking and abuse are rampant. It destroys lives and the community,” said Laurens County Sheriff Don Reynolds. “The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office works hard daily to eliminate this cancer. Hopefully the Judicial system will work to put these detriments in jail where they belong.”
