Laurens man dead following shooting

A shooting incident Tuesday morning left a Laurens man dead at a property on Eichelberger Lane in northern Laurens County.

The Laurens County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Tyrin Pulley, 37, of Laurens. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

The coroner’s office said Pulley died of multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy is due to be performed in Greenville.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Courtney Snow, public information officer with the  Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, said the LCSO could not comment on an ongoing investigation.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is assisting the LCSO with the investigation, she said.
