CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s basketball season came to an end Wednesday night with a 75-72 double overtime loss to Campbell in the opening round of the Big South Conference Tournament.

Campbell backup guard Milos Stajcic banked in a 3-pointer from the top of the key with one second left on the clock in the second overtime period to lift the Camels (16-12) to the win. Stajcic scored 11 points off the bench for Campbell.

It was the second overtime loss in as many outings for PC (12-20). The Blue Hose dropped a triple overtime 98-96 decision at UNC Asheville Saturday to end the regular season.

Winston Hill led PC with a game-high 20 points with nine rebounds. Hill was one of four PC players in double figures. Rayshon Harrison added 18 point, and freshman Marquis Barnett added a career-high 17.

Barnett’s basket with 13 seconds left in the second overtime period gave the Blue Hose a 72-71 lead.

“I am really proud of our guys tonight,” PC head coach Quinton Ferrell said. “They have been showing all year that they are resilient and tough mentally and physically. I am awfully proud of them.”
