Terrilou Lane Woodard

Terrilou Kay Lane Woodard, age 69, of Mountville, and wife of Donald “Pete” Woodard, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at her home.
Born in Panama City, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Terry and Miriam Holmes Lane. She was a retired medical transcriber, an artist with The Artist Coop in Laurens and she was a member of Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
Terrilou was a fun-loving friend, mother, grandmother and aunt who loved cooking with and entertaining her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Heather Walker and husband Michael of Mountville; siblings, Riley Lane and wife Anne of Mountville, Judith Lane Brown and husband James of Laurens and Marvin Lane and wife Marina of Mountville; grandchildren, Julia, Jonathan and Charles Walker; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Bloom and husband Reuben, Emily Brown, Isaac Brown and fiancé Shay Hunter, Anna Brown, Terry Brown, Gus Brown, Michael Lane, Matthew Lane, and Mari Caitlin Lane.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Mountville, conducted by Michael Walker. A private burial will be held at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial service.

Terrilou was an inspiration to the members of the Artist’s Coop of Laurens with her ability to combine colors and textures in creating beautiful works of abstract art. She was so supportive and encouraging to the group of artists from Greenwood who would attend the Wednesday morning drop-in class.
