Mary Jane Vaughn Yauger

Mary Jane Vaughn Yauger, 75, wife of 47 years to Eugene “Gene” Francis Yauger, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Mrs. Yauger was born in Laurens to the late William Calvin Vaughn and Etta Pearl Armstrong Vaughn. Mary was a lifetime member of Dials United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. Mary mostly loved going shopping and going to the Saturday night auctions with Annie and Brenda.

Surviving, in addition to her husband are a sister, Annie Staton; a brother, David Vaughn; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Vaughn; and brother-in-law, Buddy Staton.

The family would like to thank Chase and Kerri from Kindred Hospice for the loving care given to her during her last days.

Graveside services will be 4pm Wednesday at Dials United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
