Billy Burns

William Henry Burns, Jr., 77, passed away on June 12, 2021 at his home. Born August 10, 1943 in Laurens, he was the son of the late William “Willie” Henry Burns, Sr. and Thelma Lowes Burns and the husband of Kathy Mims Burns. Billy was a veteran of the United States National Guard and retired from Inman Mills after 19 years.

Survivors also include two sisters, Wanda McSwain of Forest City, NC and Thelma Roberta Hall, of Laurens. He was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Kay Burns and a sister, Wilma Workman.

Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Believers Assembly Church with Rev. Mike Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1PM until 2PM prior to the service.
