Susan Fooshe Peterson

Susan Fooshe Peterson, 72, wife of James Bennett Peterson, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021.
Born in Abbeville, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Elma Holsonback Fooshe. She retired from the Greenville Hospital System and was a member of Washington Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Susan Marina Lane of Mountville, Shannon Smothers of Greenville, Heather Bolick of Waterloo; sons, James Kenneth Brown, II of Pickens and James G. Peterson of Pelzer; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and cousins, Kim Turley (Wayne) of Glencoe, AL, Rosemary Pettus (Bud Freeman) of McCormick, and Jackie Court (Bernie) of North Augusta, SC.
The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Washington Baptist Church with burial following at Graceland Cemetery West.
