Kay Thompson Farr

Mr. Kay Thompson Farr, age 81, formerly of Union, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Prisma Health-Laurens.

Mr. Farr was born November 16, 1939 in Union, a son of the late James Kay Farr and Wilcie Mae Thompson Farr. He was a retired security guard. Mr. Farr was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Lisa Kay Turner and husband Chris of Laurens; a granddaughter, Georgia Grace Turner; the mother of his daughter, Shirley McDaniel Farr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 12, 2021 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Mr. Todd Palmer. Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family would like to thank Mr. Farr’s caregivers, Lynn Mims, Natalie Fleck, Leigh Stephens, and the staff of Carolina Gardens.
