Melvin Lynch

Waterloo, South Carolina

Melvin Herman Lynch, 81, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Joe Daniel and Annie Lynch and the husband of the late Ruby Lucinda Lynch. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors also include two daughters, Debra Gibbs of Rock Hill and Rhonda Lynch (Michael) of Laurens; a son, Randy Lynch of Clinton; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. The last surviving member of his family, he was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Renee Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6:30PM until 8:30PM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the home of his granddaughter, 565 Sedona Court Chesnee 29323. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Leon Bible officiating.
