Virginia S. Crain, age 91, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away in Laurens on Friday, January 15, 2021. Virginia was born June 1, 1929 to Ella Roberts Self and Elbert S Self.
Virginia retired from a long and enjoyable career with Fluor Daniel in Greenville, South Carolina. She later moved to St. George, South Carolina where she met many new friends. She dearly loved her family and her pets, and her compassion for them was well known. Her sweet nature was recognized by all who knew her.
Virginia is survived by daughter Cynthia Crain Labban (Ged); and daughter Susan C Felder (Archie); sister Joan Smith (Harold) and brother Gerald Self (Myrna); granddaughter Courtney Ross Blanton (Eric), grandson Jeff Labban (Allyson), granddaughter Caroline Mittmann (Tim), grandson Alex Felder (Meri), grandson Clark Felder, great granddaughters Grace Ross, Harper and Zelda Labban, Claire, Julia, and Nora Felder and great grandson Mason Mittmann.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Bill W Crain; father Elbert S Self; mother Ella Roberts Self and step-mother Ruby B Self; brother Arthur V Self; grandson-in-law Jake E Ross Jr.
