Myra Moody

Dateline: Clinton, South Carolina

Myra Roberts Moody, 82, widow of LaFoy Mitchell Moody, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2020.

Mrs. Moody was born in Oglethorpe County, GA to the late Arnold Jackson Roberts and Lucy Belle Dover Roberts. She retired from Whites Westinghouse.

Myra was passionate about her family and spent two decades compiling genealogical research dating back to the 1700s. She also was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Clinton.

Surviving are a son, David Moody and wife Julie; two daughters, Tina Moody and Donna Deitz; a brother, Jack Roberts and wife Elma; two sisters, Mildred Marion and Sylvia Roberts; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Terri Myers; and a sister, Shirley Vaughn.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.
