Elizabeth O’Neal Kirk Simpson

Elizabeth O’Neal Kirk Simpson, age 76, of Laurens S.C., passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at NHC of Laurens after a long battle with Dementia.

Born in Greeneville, TN, she was the daughter of Dee and Mary Kirk (Turner).

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Simpson Bruns and husband retired CW2 Lawrence (Kam) Bruns of Laurens, S.C. and a son, Mark A. Simpson of Laurens, S.C., one grand-daughter, Autumn Lee Simpson Taylor (Matthew) of Laurens, S.C., two brothers Terry Kirk (Denise), Sammy Kirk (Lisa).

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Gene Kirk and sister, Barbara Scott.

She was retired from Lowe’s in Simpsonville, S.C. where she worked for well over 25 years. She made many friends during her years there and had lots of loyal customers who loved her. She was of Baptist faith and loved her GOD. She will be missed dearly and loved eternally.

As per her wishes there will no service or funeral. She will be cremated and a private scattering of her ashes will be done with her family.
