DHEC: 6 more COVID-19 cases in county

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reported six more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laurens County Monday, bringing the county’s two-day total to 13.

The total number of confirmed cases in Laurens County has grown to 35 since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to DHEC, the statewide total of confirmed COVID-19 cases sits at 5,613, and increase of 123 cases from Sunday. The total number Sunday resulted from an increase of 237 cases from Saturday.
