District 55 buses to deliver WiFi to communities

Beginning today (April 1), Laurens County School District 55 will be placing WiFi equipped school buses at the following locations for students to access the internet and internet-based classroom materials. These buses will be on location for the remainder of this week (April 1-3).

They will not be on location during spring break (April 6-13, 2020) but will return to operation Monday through Friday beginning Tuesday, April 14.

 

 

Here are times and locations for the buses:

Laurens Terrace, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Springfield Church, 1-5 p.m.

Laurens Villa, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Eastside Church, 1-5 p.m.

Graystone Estates, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Friendship Baptist Church, 1-5 p.m.

Carriage Farms, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Center Rabun Mission Church (Highway 101), 1-5 p.m.

Meadowbrook, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Spring St. Apartments, 1-3 p.m.

Hilltop Apartments/Laurens Glen, 3-5 p.m.

Riverfork Road (Fire Dept.), 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Branch Church (Neely Ferry Road), 1-5 p.m.
