Mrs. Ruby Irene Morgan Vinson, age 79, of 95 Seay Drive passed away at her home on Monday, December 02, 2019.

Born March 24, 1940 to the parents of Thomas E. and Ruth Irene Sherbert Morgan and she was the widower of James Elbert Vinson.

She was a retired employee of Miliken Plant in Laurens and a member of Knighton Chapel Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include four sons; Erskine Eugene Collins, Virgil (Connie) Vinson, Ronnie Vinson and Robert (Amanda) Vinson; two daughters, Vickie Knox (Ted Sisco) and Stacey Barrios; two brothers, Bud (Brenda) Morgan and Benny (Liz) Morgan; two sisters, Betty Sue (Robbie) Williams and Mandy Morgan (Donnie West); Special friend, Wayne Smith; thirty-two grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Vinson was preceded in death by four sons, James Timothy Collins, Chris Collins, Dennis Collins and David Vinson; one brother, Dewey Morgan and two sisters, Sarah Morris and Mary Queen.

The family received friends on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 06, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Knighton Chapel Wesleyan Church officiated by Rev. Steven Love. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tim Collins, David Morgan, Thomas Collins, Jamie Collins, Wayne Smith and Steven Collins.
