Mama, as I write this message, it is 8 months after your death. Some days it feels as if you went home to be with the Lord yesterday; some days I cry happy tears as I remember and reflect on our lives together and some days I cry tears of sadness because I miss you so much. I know that you are alright and with the Lord, Daddy and all of our family and friends who have made that journey too. I really miss taking care of you! We had such a joyous time at NHC as I pushed you around in your wheelchair to the A and C wings to visit friends; as we attended the music exercise on Tuesdays; as I brushed and braided your hair; as we sat out on the sun porch in the summers listening to music. We had a beautiful life together. Each day, I am reminded of you by something you’ve said or done. I know that you are happy and having a glorious time with the Lord. Until we meet again, Mama, I will continue to carry you in my heart always. I love you and miss you dearly! Rest in Sweet Peace… Your daughter, Cynthia Lynn
