Minnie Juanita Holcomb

Dateline – Washington, DC

Minnie Juanita Holcomb, a native daughter of Laurens, South Carolina, received her wings on March 30, 2019, after 95 years on this earth.  Her life’s journey took her from Laurens to living all around the world before settling in the Washington, DC area as an award-winning early childhood educator.
Funeral services were held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington, DC on April 13, 2019.  She is survived by her loving husband, Wilbert McDaniel Holcomb, and her devoted children, Sabrina Holcomb and Juan Holcomb of Silver Spring, Maryland, and her grandson, Carl and great-grandchildren, Jaquan and Jebron of Gateshead, England.
