William Coleman Babb

William Coleman Babb, age 80, of 1426 Chestnut Street Ext., and widower of Phyllis Catron Babb, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the National Healthcare Center in Mauldin.

Born in Gray Court, he was the son of the late Talmadge Babb and Mae Templeton Babb Coates. William served in the US Navy and later retired as a Machinist and HVAC technician.  He was a member of New Horizon Freewill Baptist Church, a mason and member of Palmetto Lodge #19, and a Hejaz Shriner.

Surviving are daughters, Kimberly Babb Tindall (James) of Gray Court and Karman Babb Gilbert of Laurens; two grandchildren, Nicole Tindall (Bradley Weston) and Wil Tindall; two great grandchildren, Aly Tindall and Ava Tindall; and beloved pets, Bullit and Bo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at New Horizon Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jack Elders and Rev. William Cole.  Burial will follow with Military Honors in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Kimberly Tindall.
