Tiller named Fountain Inn High Principal

Fountain Inn High School may be two school years way opening, but it already has its first-ever principal.

Clinton High principal Maureen Tiller was approved for the post during Tuesday night’s Greenville County Schools Board of Trustees meeting. She will take the helm of the new school when it opens in the Fall of 2021.

Tiller has been Clinton High’s principal since 2011 and served in different posts before that – including Bailey Elementary (2002-06) and Bell Street Middle (2006-09). Tiller has also been the Executive Director of Instruction K-12 during her tenure, reinforcing her instructional knowledge and leadership experience system-wide.

Fountain Inn High construction will start this year along Quillen Avenue and will be built for 1,000 students – while able to expand to 2,000 students.
