Sherri Diane Cantrell Clem, 52, wife of Joe Clem for 22 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2019.

Mrs. Clem was born in Woodruff to Diane Owens Cantrell and the late William Lee “Bill” Cantrell Sr. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and the co-owner and operator of Skydog Music. She was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College and Burnette’s School of Cosmetology. She formerly worked as an EMT for Laurens and Greenwood counties. Sherri enjoyed music and she never met a stranger.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two daughters, Brie McDowell and Emily McDowell; a brother, Lee Cantrell Jr. and wife Sherri; a nephew, Tyler Cantrell; and a niece, Mattison Cantrell.

A Celebration of Sherri’s Life will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, at Fletcher Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Brandon Gilreath. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
