Vivian Brewer

Vivian Ruth Brewer, 82, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

Mrs. Brewer was born in Tyler County, WV, to the late Norval Odger Brewer and Rachel Puma Johnson Brewer. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Vivian enjoyed bowling and was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of West Virginia.

Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Springfield and husband Jerry; a brother, Joe Brewer; a granddaughter, Claire Lesley and husband Jesse; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Rachel Springfield; two brothers, Alfred “Boots” Brewer and Denver Brewer; and two sisters, Doris Williams and Garnet Shaffer.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bethel UMC Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Dan Chamblee.
