Mark James Guion

We honor the life and passing of Mark James Guion, age 48, of Gray Court, S.C.  Mark left us on December 23, 2018 after sudden cardiac complications. The son of Richard and Carolyn Guion of Simpsonville, Mark was born in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Riverside High School and The University of South Carolina.

He leaves behind his wife, Sandy Glenn of Gray Court, three sons; Parker, Dylan and Mason Guion, two daughters; Jason and Jordan Guion-Brooks of Loris, SC; Step-sons; Gabriel, Isaiah, Josiah and Jonah Glenn of Gray Court and Sisters; Melissa Smith of Simpsonville and Amber Alexander of Knoxville, Tenn.

Mark was laid to rest at Saluda Rest Natural Burials in Marrietta, SC.

A gentle and giving soul, Mark’s smile will be missed, but the joy he left us will be held dear to our hearts for our lifetimes.
