Carl Edward Hurley

Carl Edward Hurley, age 38, of 563 Deer Valley Rd, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of Donnie Robert Hurley, Sr. and Frances McGee Hurley. Carl was a graduate of Clemson University and was formerly a mechanical engineer at B.F. Shaw.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Donnie Robert Hurley, Jr. and wife Sanjuana of Laurens; sisters, Kim Hurley Mitchum and husband Jeff of Laurens, Carolyn Lawson of Laurens; a special friend, Lori Vongsouvanh; two nephews and five nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the residence and will receive friends immediately following the service on Thursday.
