BREAKING: All Friday prep football games rescheduled

All three Laurens County prep football games slated for Friday have now been moved to Thursday due to Hurricane Florence.

The Laurens Raiders’ varsity football game against Wade Hampton and the Laurens Academy home game with W.W. King have both been rescheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m., while Clinton will play Wren Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.

Laurens’ game will be played at K.C. Hanna Stadium, while the LA contest will be played at Kirk Field. Clinton will play at Wilder Stadium.

The games were rescheduled due to the pending impacts this weekend of Hurricane Florence. Laurens’ JV game had previously been moved to Wednesday.

COLLEGE: Presbyterian College has announced its home opener for Saturday against Stetson, originally moved to DeLand, Fla., has been canceled.

Any fans who purchased tickets to the game in Clinton can call the ticket office (833-8240) for refund information.

PC’s next home game is scheduled for Sept. 22 against Bluefield College, starting at 7 p.m.
