Nicky Carroll Weathers

Nicky Carroll Weathers, age 50, of 7640 Neely Ferry Road, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.

Born in Laurens, he was the son of Wade Carroll “Tony” and Marlene Morton Weathers of Laurens.  He was a member of Welcome Baptist Church and was employed with Union Local 421 as a welder and pipefitter. Mr. Weathers was an avid outdoorsman, loved dirt track racing, and genuinely enjoyed working.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two children, Nikki Weathers and TK Weathers both of Laurens, one sister, Jennifer Gregory and husband, Chad of Laurens; paternal grandmother, Margie Townsend of Laurens; former wife and lifelong friend, Tammy Allen of Laurens; a niece and nephew, Summer Gregory and Sloan Gregory; and many loving cousins and extended family and friends.  He was also a father-like figure to Ashley Morgan and Jessica Coleman of Woodruff.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Welcome Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Don Peake and Rev. Ronnie Blackwell with burial in the church cemetery.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, 416 Harbor Crest Drive, Waterloo, SC 29384 and will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
