Logan Wade “Peanut” Sumeral

Logan Wade “Peanut” Sumeral, 14 months old, of Clinton, passed away on  Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of Kimberly Ann Oberdier Collins and Corey Mason Sumeral. Logan attended Laurens Church of God and was loved by all who met him.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his siblings, Skyler Hayden Sumeral, Christopher Micheal Morgan Collins, and Isabella Marie Collins; maternal grandmother, Deanna Oberdier Franklin; paternal grandfather, Billy Ray Sumeral; great-grandparents, Louise Oberdier, Doris Morgan, and Bettie Zane Holsonback; numerous loving aunts and uncles including Chris and Amber Lyons who were like parents to Peanut and their children, Megean, Kelli, and Blake; special aunt, Tammy Lyons; Papa and Granny, Sam and Shirley Lyons.

Logan was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Marcus Wayne Morgan and paternal grandmother, Debra Holsonback Sumeral.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Laurens Church of God conducted by Rev. Dr. Bryan Malone with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the church from 10:30 am-12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
